Being a Baby


Wasn't it great being a baby? I mean, I know that memory doesn't kick in till a later age, but still...

Everyone LOVES you when you're a baby. Everyone thinks you're SO CUTE when you're a baby.


You really have it made. Your mom and dad (if they're good parents) take really good care of you. They'll feed you if you cry, change you if you cry, hold you if you cry, sing to you if you cry...etc.

You get to sleep all the time, too. Pretty much all you do is eat, poop and sleep. Nobody cares though. You're freaking adorable. And everyone wants to make you laugh, smile, and generaly have fun. They'll even go out of their way to make fools of themselves to do it.

To Boy/girlfriend or Not to Boy/girlfriend:

I've been doing a lot of pondering in the past 3 years of my life. Yeah, I know, everyone ponders.
I just cant seem to get unstuck from my choice topic of pondering, "To Boyfriend or Not to Boyfriend".

There's a lot of advantages and disadvantages.(If you are a guy, simply ignore the "boy" in boyfriend and replace it with "girl")

Advantages:
1) You can say that you have a boyfriend
2) You have an excuse to be romantic
3) You (most of the time) have something to do on the weekends and not just stay home and watch Anne of Green Gables with your mom.
4) You have someone you can hold hands with/hug/kiss/cuddle with/etc.
5) Boyfriends are fun. They love you. You love them. Thats nice.

Disadvantages:
1) Boyfriends require a lot of attention.
2) You might lose some friends because of negligence on your part.
3) You might get in a fight.
4) You might feel obligated to do something with them on the weekend.
5) People might accuse you of being annoying with your PDA/ baby talk/ bickering.


That's all I can think of. If you guys can think of any other advantages/disadvantages, let me know.

If you want a boyfriend/girlfriend, be prepared to deal with the various disadvantages. Don't forget about your friends. They love you the most.
